The first round was a written test consisting of Aptitude, Critical Reasoning and Data Interpretation Questions. There were about 40 questions which were very easy. If somebody has practised well he could have solved all of them.
The Personal Interview Round began with the usual Tell Me about Yourself Question. The interviewers were quite friendly and helped ease the nervousness. Further questions were asked on why did I chose mechanical as my stream. It was followed by my experiences at college and the extracurricular activities I had undertaken. Then they questioned me on my projects and how can they be applied in practical real-world scenarios and were a bit annoyed by the fact that the mechanisms used are quite outdated. This was followed by me asking questions to the recruiter.
1)You should be well versed with all the points on your resume.
2)Research about the company beforehand and try to make the best of the opportunity to ask them questions about the same.
3)In case of a stress interview(*very rare in case of core companies), try to remain confident and have a smile on your face.
