This round consisted of three coding questions. Two of them were easy and one was tough. The first question was just to test your understanding of the concepts of Java like the encapsulation of class parameters. The second question was based on the sorting algorithm. The third question was relatively tougher. Many people who managed to solve 2 out of the 3 got shortlisted for the next round.

This round was a mix of technical and HR round. Both technical executive and HR were sitting in the interview room. The technical executive went through my CV and asked me questions about the projects that I mentioned in the CV. He was quite friendly and gave me some suggestions to further improve my projects. He then asked me about the technology that I was interested in. He talked about various technologies that their company uses in their projects and he wanted to know if I had some idea about them. He then asked me about my preferred backend framework that I use for developing Android applications (I had mentioned android app projects in my CV). He then asked a few questions about these frameworks. He then asked me if I had any questions for him. I asked him about the type of projects the interns would be working on and what should I prepare before joining if I get selected. He told me about 2 projects that they were planning they were planning for the internship program and asked me to have a good understanding of Java for these projects. Then HR just me just 2 or 3 questions about my family background, my interests, and strengths and weakness.
