Computer Based Test Interview

This round consisted of simple aptitude questions and basic Data structure and C programming questions. You just need to focus on getting questions correct, no need to hurry as sufficient time was available.

It started with a basic introduction and then went on to my Summer internship project. Later on he grilled me with some questions on OOPS (Polymorphism) and data structure(Maps and Hashing). Then he went on to ask me what job profile as an intern I am looking for to which I replied that I want an job that can bring finance and technology together, I supported my answer by mentioning little bit about my background and recent projects. At the end of the interview, we had a chat over the weather of Nagpur and how it is different from Pune (My internship location)

This round also started with my introduction and a little discussion of my recent most project. Later he wanted to know my skills on problem understanding and solution building for which he asked me to assume that he is the client and I am a developer and gave me project on keeping a record of the trees in the VNIT. He told me to ask as many questions as I want, to understand the problem and requirements. It was followed by some HR questions based on team work. for instance one question was, how I will handle a colleague who isnt completing his part of work and will I report this to higher authority? Later on I asked him about his experience as I knew from the pre placement talk that he has been in the company from long time.

Again the round started with my introduction . Later he tried put me in some situations related to human morals and ethics to which I replied with honesty as what I will do if i was in the same situation and tried to put reasons for my answers. He had this constant poker face throughout the interview, So i just tried to not to loose my confidence in my answers and didnt bothered myself with his responses. He asked me if i had some questions for him to which i asked him to what made you decide to choose this firm over your previous firm as he had mentioned in the pre placement talk that he has joined the firm recently.

Other comments

Be thorough with Basics of OOPS. Sometimes they try to grill you over a topic be prepared for that. Also, I feel like whenever you answer some HR questions be honest and always support your answer with proper reasons.
