First round was an aptitude and coding round. There were three sections, English, Business Analytics and Coding. English section was easy with questions like reading comprehension etc. In business analytics we were given various graphs and data and we had to answer questions related to that. This section was also easy. Then there was a coding section with 2 questions.
The first question was related to this concept:
The second question was related to finding the sum of digits of a number.
I was able to pass 17/19 test cases in the first question and 16/16 test cases in the second question.
There was NO NEGATIVE MARKING and we could not re attempt a question after moving to the next question.
This was a technical interview round. The interviewer first wanted to ask me questions related to DBMS and OS but I to ld him that we hadn't been taught the subject yet. So we moved to more basic topics.
I was asked the following questions:
1. Explain LIFO/FIFO with examples and where I've used these concepts.
2. Difference between compiler and interpreter. Which is faster and which is better at catching errors.
3. Types of error we encounter while coding and which is hardest to resolve etc
Then we moved on to few coding questions which were very easy and basic level. For eg. find number of unique characters in a string, reverse a Linked List etc
This was again technical round and the interviewer asked what I was involved in. I told him about my previous hackathon experience. We had a detailed discussion about the problem and the solution I had built in the hackathon. I was asked a few general questions regarding my college life etc.
This round didn't feel like a technical interview and felt more like a discussion as the interviewer was really friendly.
This was a telephonic round, I was asked whether I would be comfortable working in Bangalore/Hyderabad and Chennai. I was given details about the CTC if I get a PPO and the stipend for internship.
Just say it clearly if you don't know a particular topic. Speak confidently and you can ask your interviewer at the end if you have any doubts etc.
