The test consisted of 4 sections and was held on AMCAT platform. Switching within the sections and skipping of questions was not allowed. The first section consisted of 25 technical MCQs based on programming and had to be attempted in 25 minutes. It was followed by 15 aptitude and 25 verbal ability MCQs that had to be solved in 15 and 20 minutes respectively. The last section consisted of 2 coding questions and duration was 1 hour. The first question was of pattern printing and the other one was based on trees. I could solve the first one completely and second one partially. Overall, it was an easy test!
This round started with my introduction followed by the interviewer's introduction. She was quite friendly and was basically analyzing my confidence level. I was asked about OOPs concept and about data structures. She asked me about my extra curriculars and gave me a situation based on that and enquired what am I supposed to do. She further asked me general aptitude questions - the father-son age problem and divisibility of few numbers by number 132. This round ended with me asking her few questions.
This round started with my introduction and the usual question 'Why Citi?'. The interviewer asked me why I want to get into non-core sector and what is the importance of coding in my life. Further, we discussed my project and she asked me technical questions related to that followed by its practical applications. She was very friendly and asked me about my strengths, weakness and what do I expect from this internship. She asked me if I had any questions for her and we concluded after that.
1. Do attend the pre-placement talk and ask questions, if given a chance. You will get many of your HR round answers from here!
2. For computer based test, solving questions from indiabix.com is sufficient. Try managing time effectively and attempting maximum questions. Try to solve one of the coding question completely satisfying all the test cases.
3. For interviews, I would suggest that confidence is the key. The interviews were pretty chill and if you are calm and composed, nothing's tough.
4. Be honest and communicate well.
All the best :)
